Who it’s for

  • If you have the following concerns, Wrinkle Botox may be considered. - Wrinkles on the forehead, glabella, or around the eyes become prominent when frowning, raising the brows, or making other expressions - Wrinkles that are relatively faint at rest but form repeatedly with movement are a concern - The aim is to manage repeated expression lines before they deepen - Relatively simple management of expression lines without significant downtime is preferred Wrinkles that have already set deeply and are visible even without expression may be difficult to improve sufficiently with botulinum toxin alone, and combining other procedures may be considered depending on the skin condition. The medical team judges suitability and the treatment areas individually after assessing the wrinkles that appear with active movement, the muscle movement, and any left-right differences. Treatment may be restricted during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in the case of neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, or when there is active infection in the treatment area. Please inform the medical team before treatment if you have a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin or anaesthetic ingredients, or are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or other medication that can affect bleeding.

What Is Wrinkle Botox?

Wrinkle Botox is a quick injection that softens the lines that appear when facial expressions are made (dynamic wrinkles). It briefly turns down the 'volume' of the nerve signal reaching the expression muscles, so the forehead, frown, and eye-corner lines that habitually crease tend to crease less. The session takes about 10 minutes with almost no downtime, so patients can return to the day right away. It's a bit like easing off the pressure on a sheet of paper that keeps folding, so the crease doesn't deepen as much. REPIC first checks which muscle creates which line, then divides measured doses across each area — a diagnosis-based, tailored approach paired with transparency about the licensed product used and measured dosing.

What to Expect: The Wrinkle Botox Treatment Process

1) Consultation & assessment: a few facial expressions are made so the doctor can map dynamic lines and decide which areas to treat together, the appropriate dose per area, and the toxin type (domestic Hitox, or imported Xeomin/Botox). 2) Cleansing & marking: the area is disinfected and muscle points are marked. 3) Injection: a fine needle delivers small, measured amounts into the treated areas. Wrinkle Botox is typically performed without separate anesthesia; a cooling step may be used to reduce sensation. 4) Finish: light pressure is applied to finish — the whole process takes about 10 minutes, and patients can return to normal activity right away.

When Will Wrinkle Botox Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?

Results appear gradually — not immediately after the injection. They typically begin within a few days and reach their fuller effect around two weeks, with individual variation, as the expression muscles relax and the dynamic wrinkles soften. The effect generally lasts around 3 to 4 months, varying by individual; as muscle activity returns, the lines gradually return as well. Once the effect fades, it may be worth discussing with the doctor whether to repeat Wrinkle Botox if patients would like to maintain it. The degree and duration of the effect depend on the strength of facial expression muscles, expression habits, and the dose and product used, and results cannot be guaranteed.

Wrinkle Botox Safety Information & Aftercare

Treatment may be restricted during pregnancy or breastfeeding, in the case of neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, or when there is active infection in the treatment area. If you have experienced an allergic or hypersensitivity reaction to botulinum toxin or anaesthetic ingredients, or are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or other medication that can affect bleeding, please inform the medical team before treatment. Please also be sure to inform us if you are using medication that can affect neuromuscular transmission, such as aminoglycoside antibiotics. Immediately after treatment, redness, swelling, stinging, or bruising may appear at the injection sites, and in most cases these gradually settle over time. Depending on the treatment area and dose, facial expression may temporarily feel unnatural or heavy, and the surrounding muscles may rarely be affected, resulting in asymmetry or drooping of the brow or eyelid. If such symptoms persist or cause discomfort, medical assessment is required. After treatment, to minimize the possibility of the toxin unintentionally affecting surrounding muscles, it is best not to rub, press, or massage the treated area. On the day of treatment, it is recommended to avoid activities that increase blood flow and body temperature, such as vigorous exercise, saunas, hot compresses, hot baths, and alcohol.
