PDRN Injection

PDRN injection is a skin booster that, instead of adding volume from outside, signals the skin's own collagen-making cells to renew themselves. Rather than a one-and-done treatment, hydration and texture changes build up gradually over a series of sessions. Like switching the power back on in a factory that had gone quiet — it wakes up the skin's natural ability to repair itself.

1) Consultation & assessment: a skin assessment checks hydration, texture, and firmness, and the doctor reviews key safety items — pregnancy status, current medications (especially anticoagulants), and any allergy or herpes history — to tailor the session count and dose. 2) Cleansing: makeup is fully removed and the area is disinfected. 3) Anesthesia: a topical numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes if needed to minimize discomfort. 4) Injection: PDRN is delivered into the dermis through a series of fine micro-injections, under sterile conditions. 5) Aftercare guidance: brief soothing, then home-care instructions, including how to look after the skin between sessions. If numbing cream is needed, the application time (about 30 minutes) is added, so the individual's total time at the clinic may be longer. As with any injection, minor redness, swelling, or injection marks may appear and typically settle quickly.

Because PDRN is understood to work by stimulating fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin — a regenerative process rather than an instant fill — its results build cumulatively. Patients may notice a hydrated feel soon after treatment, with skin texture refining gradually over a series. People commonly describe better-hydrated, more supple-feeling skin over a course of sessions; PDRN does not add volume or fill deep lines the way a filler does. PDRN-type skin boosters are generally recommended as a series of three or more sessions at 2-3 week intervals, and the number of sessions needed is decided during consultation based on the skin. Regenerative treatments tend to build up better when consistent hydration and barrier care are kept up at home between sessions. How long results last varies by individual skin condition and lifestyle, and many people return for periodic maintenance sessions after completing a series; the doctor will advise based on the skin. Onset and individual results vary.

PDRN Injection is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. As it uses PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) derived from salmon, please inform the medical team before treatment if you have a history of allergy or hypersensitivity to fish such as salmon. If there is active infection, inflammation, or an open wound in the treatment area, or if an autoimmune disease is active, or there is a bleeding disorder or a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, treatment may be restricted, so please inform the medical team in advance. Please also be sure to inform the medical team if you are taking anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, or other medication that can affect bleeding. Immediately after treatment, redness, swelling, stinging, or bruising may appear at the injection sites, and in most cases these gradually settle over time. On the day of treatment, do not rub or massage the injection sites vigorously, and it is best to avoid activities that can increase swelling and warmth, such as alcohol, saunas, hot compresses, hot baths, and vigorous exercise. Adequate moisturizing and sun protection are recommended after treatment. If pain, swelling, or warmth progressively worsens, or if pus, fever, or other signs suggesting infection or an abnormal reaction appear, medical assessment is required.
