What Is InMode?
InMode is a non-surgical treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) heat to reinforce the collagen support structure within the skin while also helping to reduce fat volume in the treated area, working on fat reduction together with firming and contour refinement. Controlled warmth stimulates dermal collagen and addresses fat to gently tidy softened lines and texture. Matched handpieces address thin areas like the under-eye, the lower face and jawline, and even body areas such as the abdomen and arms.
What to Expect: The InMode Treatment Process
1) Consultation and safety check: before starting, the clinic reviews contraindications during consultation, such as pregnancy, an active autoimmune condition, or an active infection or inflammation in the treatment area.
2) Cleansing and prep: makeup is removed and the area is prepared.
3) Energy settings: the FORMA and FX handpieces are individually set to the skin and target zone.
4) Treatment: thin, sensitive areas such as the under-eye are treated gently with the non-suction FORMA handpiece at lower energy for surface firming, while the lower face and jawline are addressed with the FX handpiece using RF and suction to refine the contour. Around sensitive areas such as the eyes, the doctor adjusts the energy accordingly. Patients will feel a warming sensation; most people need no anesthesia, though numbing cream is available for those who are sensitive to discomfort.
5) Soothing and finish: after-care soothing is provided, along with a home-care routine centered on thorough hydration and sun protection so the collagen-stimulating effect can continue at home. At REPIC, the treated zones and handpieces are tailored based on the areas of laxity and skin condition identified with diagnostic tools such as Metaview, and where appropriate the doctor suggests a home-care direction suited to the skin.
When Will InMode Results Appear — and How Long Do They Last?
Some people notice a subtly tidier contour right after the session; this early change comes from RF heat causing collagen fibers to contract temporarily and varies between individuals. In the weeks that follow, as the skin recovers from the controlled heat, new collagen is gradually produced, and improvements in firmness and texture are understood to appear progressively over several weeks to roughly three to six months. Any result is not permanent and cannot be guaranteed; reported duration varies individually, often on the order of several months. Because collagen builds gradually, some patients choose to repeat the treatment periodically; this is optional and discussed individually. The degree and duration of any result vary with age, skin condition, and lifestyle.
InMode Safety Information & Aftercare
Temporary redness, warmth, swelling, or tenderness may occur after treatment, and in most cases these settle over time. In particular, because InMode FX involves suction during the procedure, bruising or marks may appear in the treatment area, and recovery may take several days depending on the individual.
On the day of treatment it is best to avoid excessive heat exposure such as saunas, hot compresses, and hot baths, as well as excessive alcohol and vigorous exercise. Refrain from anything that strongly irritates the skin, and pay attention to moisturizing and sun protection.
Treatment is not performed during pregnancy. Treatment may be restricted if there is active skin disease, infection, inflammation, or an open wound in the treatment area, if an implantable electronic medical device such as a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator is in use, or if there are metallic implants in or adjacent to the treatment area, so please be sure to inform the medical team. Confirmation by the medical team is also required beforehand in the case of previous aesthetic procedures in the area such as fillers or lifting threads, a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, or active or uncontrolled systemic disease.
